Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu has made a overacted backtrack on his sexuality.
The popular movie star took to his Instagram page on yesterday Monday, April 9, 2021, where he relinquished homosexuality. He wrote in his post,
“Dear fans, I am not gay. I lost movie roles, endorsements and my girlfriend fighting for LGBT rights in Nigeria,” he wrote.
Omg, even my girlfriend left me despite knowing I was fighting for LGBT right in Naija but I no regret using my celebrity status to fighting for this beautiful community.”
“Appreciate others and #share only love we need to respect peoples choices not to judge them so lets practice Jesus kind of love,” he wrote.
He admitted that he had lost many of his endorsement since he started the LGBT activism and movement.
It would be recalled that in January, Uche had taken his social media to admit being gay and even announced that he was going to get married to his ‘boyfriend’ sometime in February in six months time
He came under severe kickback from several Nigerians including celebrities like popular Victoria Inyama who strongly asserted he was not sincere about his sexuality at all.
Maduagwu is a popular actor and brand influencer who became famous for trolling politicians, celebrities, and pastors on social media.
