Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar Jr, has been suspended for two matches, following his red card against Lille last Saturday.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known as Neymar, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world.
This means the Brazilian international will not feature for PSG when they tackle Strasbourg this weekend and Saint-Etienne on April 18, the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) has announced.
Neymar was sent off during PSG’s 1-0 home defeat following an altercation with Lille defender, Tiago Djalo, who was also dismissed.
Neymar and Djalo were given three-match bans, but with one of those games suspended.
Meanwhile, Neymar was impressive for PSG in their Champions League quarter-final first leg 3-2 victory against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian Footballer gave assists to Kylian Mbappe and Marquinhos during the encounter against Bayern.
