Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorist Logistics Suppliers in Borno
Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested two suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP logistics suppliers during a stop-and-search operation at a military checkpoint in Borno State.
The suspects, Mohammed Bukar (“Dege”), 35, and Iliyasu Abdullahi, 26, were intercepted on June 19 while transporting PMS and other supplies allegedly meant for terrorist groups.
Both suspects, from Kamuya village in Biu LGA, are in military custody alongside the recovered items as investigations continue. Security forces say efforts to disrupt terrorist supply networks across the North-East remain ongoing.
