See reasons why Fr. Mbaka called for impeachment

The presidency has condemned Father Mbaka’s call for Buhari’s resignation in this week’s report revealing how Fr. Mbaka allegedly asked Buhari for contracts for compensation.

The presidency has intensively alleged that the spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry (AMEN), Fr. Mbaka is asking President Muhammadu Buhari to resign or be impeached because the president refused to give him contracts as compensation for supporting him during the 1^st tenure campaign.

Garba Shehu, a presidential spokesperson, in a statement Today, Friday April 30, claimed the reverend once demanded contracts as compensation for supporting Buhari during the presidency election

He reveals in his statement that :
…Father Mbaka asked for a meeting and to the shock of Presidential Aides, he came accompanied by three contractors. The President graciously allowed them in, and to everyone’s surprise, Father Mbaka asked for contracts as compensation for his support.

Anyone familiar with President Buhari knows that he doesn’t break the laid down rules in dealing with contracts or any other government business for that matter. He requested the appropriate authorities to deal with the matter in accordance with laid down rules.”

Shehu said the presidency said had exercised due professional discretion by not revealing details of the Mbaka’s request to save the him from criticism amidst controversy of his engagement in politics.

He stated that the preacher’s defamation and slander on the president was because his requests for contracts were not granted and his call for impeachment is a tactic to get back at Mr. President.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has it out on the spiritual director of Adoration Ministry, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, over his call for the National Assembly to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.

Vanguard news also reports that Yekini Nabena, the APC deputy national publicity secretary, today , in Abuja reproached and cautioned Mbaka, against making statements that could cause instability or precariousness in the country.

Fr. Mbaka made it clear that he was not happy with the current administration as he accused Buhari to “maintaining grave silence” despite the widespread killings in the country hence called for his resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari and from the reports it seemed there were other reasons behind this.
