Popular Nollywood Actor, Mr Ibu Reveals Why He Did Not Attend Obi Cubana’s Mother’s Burial

John Okafor, also known as ‘Mr Ibu’, revealed on Instagram why he was not at the burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother recently concluded in Oba, Anambra State.

Responding to Obi Cubana’s post, the comedian cited ill-health as the chief reason. The actor also revealed that he has been receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

He wrote;

“Nwannem (my brother) I am in the hospital, that’s why I couldn’t make it biko (please). Thank God for everything.”

Meanwhile, the burial ceremony of Obi Cubana’s mother had several of Mr Ibu’s colleagues in attendance. The likes of Kanayo O. Kanayo, Zubby Michael, Alex Ekubo, Jnr Pope, Charles Okocha, Williams Uchemba and a host of others.

The burial ceremony of Ezinne Iyiegbu aka Mama Cubana was the most trended event on social media this July.

Dignitaries from all walks of life graced the lavish occasion in Oba, Anambra State.
