Tension in Imo state as Four suya sellers were killed by unknown gunmen which were suspected to be part of the Eastern security network.
It is no longer news that the Eastern Security Network has been operating in the East without the approval of the federal government.
The Eastern Security Network was formed by Nnamdi who is a Biafra Activist.
Despite his absence in Nigeria, he has been releasing various updates to his followers in Nigeria. He even launched the Eastern Security Network in “Absentia”
The existence of the ESN has led to various reactions from Nigerians and the federal government is against their outfit.
There is a palpable tension in Imo State following the murder of seven traders of northern extraction.
Gunmen suspected to be operatives of the Eastern Security Network established by the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, have killed four Hausa traders in Imo state
It was gathered that the victims were killed in separate shooting incidents in Orlu town and Umuaka in Njaba Local Government Area between Friday and Saturday.
Narrating the incident to newsmen, an eyewitness, Harisu Umaru Ishiaku, said that the killers, dressed in Military uniform, stormed the Afor Umuaka market around 8:30 pm and attacked the victims.
He said four of the victims who are within the age bracket of 45 years and 30 years have lived in the area for many years.
He accused ESN operatives of carrying out both attacks.
