The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, has declared Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10, 2023, as public holidays to commemorate this year’s Easter celebration. The announcement was made in Abuja, as stated in a press release signed by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Shuaib Begore, on April 5. Aregbesola called on Christians to observe the values of sacrifice, unity, forgiveness, kindness, love, peace, and patience demonstrated by Jesus Christ during his ministry on earth.
