The untimely passing of South African rapper AKA has been confirmed by a statement from his family.

AKA Kiernan Forbes, who was shot and killed on February 10 in Durban, South Africa.

The celebrated rapper, who was based in Johannesburg, took a flight to Durban on February 10 to attend his birthday party, which he had invited his followers to attend and publicised on his social media platforms. Unfortunately, he and his former manager both died from gunfire that evening.
