As at 1st of April 2020, Nigerian Government reduces her Petrol price to N123 due to an increase in the pandemic rate of COVID19 patients and Curfew on movement restrictions acroos the 36 States of the country.

Nigeria’s Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) executive secretary Abdulkadir Saidu said in a statement Speaking thus ” Motor Spirit pump price hereby announces guiding PMS pump price of N123.50 per litre”.

As at Month, President Mohammadu Buhari Spoke on the initial price price of petrol which was sold at the rate of N145 reducing it to N125 which affected Details and whole sale – Sales all over Nigeria.

However, the Nigeria’s junior minister for petroleum Timipre Sylva in a statement said the drop in crude oil prices lowered the expected open market price of imported petrol below the official pump price of N145 per litre. Speaking to the media, Sylvia confirmed that the president said Nigerians should benefit from the decrease in the petrol price.
