The former Nigeria captain, Mikel and 2013 African cup of nations winner has left the Turkish outfit by mutual consent,as confirmed by the club on Tuesday

The 32 year old played a key role in holding midfield to help the club to the summit of the Turkish Lig with 19 league appearances. No reason has been given for the termination of his contract but the club revealed the Mikel gave up his remaining wages
The professional football player agreement between our company and John Obi Mikel on 30.06.2019 start date 31.05.2021 has been mutually terminated. With a mutual termination agreement, the football player gave up all his forward-looking receivables,” the club announced .
