Many Feared Dead As Gas Plant Explodes In Effurun, Delta State (Photos/Videos)

An explosion at a sizable gas facility in the Effurun region of Delta state on Monday night, February 20, is said to have killed some people.

Around 10:30 p.m., the gas station caught fire, according to witnesses. When asked about the incident, a local person replied;

‘’I saw it from far as Ginuwa road, and I suddenly saw huge red flames in the sky that just lasted some seconds and began to wonder what it was. Thanks to God for we have not recorded any casualty.”
