President Trump sanctioned the dropping of 6 MOABs (Mother of all Bombs) on three Iranian nuclear sites – Fordow, Natanz & Esfahan, in what he called “a complete success”
The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations.
The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences. Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior.
In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people.
“It is now our turn to act without delay. As a first step, we must launch a missile strike on the US naval fleet in Bahrain and simultaneously close the Strait of Hormuz to American, British, German, and French ships.. kill them wherever you can find them,”
Khamenei’s representative in Kayhan newspaper, Hossein Shariatmadari in reaction to the US attacks.
Tehran MP Hamid Rasaei said on Sunday that the only effective response to the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities would be targeting American military bases in Saudi Arabia. “No retaliation will truly sting the US except hitting its bases in Saudi Arabia,” he wrote in a post.
