Female University Graduate Killed In Boyfriend’s House After Paying Him A Visit.
According to Punch newspaper,the Lagos State University graduate, Adija, was found dead in her boyfriend’s apartment in the Meiran area. It was revealed that Adija and her boyfriend had been in a troubled relationship since her second year in university. Despite the toxicity, Adija would often stay at her boyfriend’s apartment during the week, only returning to her parents’ home in Ketu on weekends.
The boyfriend, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently nowhere to be found.
Credible reports revealed that, the incident happened on February 26, when Adija visited her boyfriend at his apartment in Meiran, after he had asked her to come over.
An Instagram user, @Eyeopener, shared that Adija’s family grew worried when she didn’t answer their calls. Since she had told them she was visiting her boyfriend, they went to his apartment to check on her, only to discover her lifeless body.According to @Eyeopener, neighbors heard Adija’s voice on Wednesday night, but they didn’t intervene because the couple’s fights was a regular occurrence.
It wasn’t until they discovered her lifeless body that they realized the gravity of the situation.By then, the boyfriend had already fled the scene.
When contacted on Sunday, Adija’s family chose not to comment on the incident, likely still feeling devastated from the shock and grief of their loss.
