We need to talk about Kepa’s influence in the penalty shoot-out, not just Tuchel, everyone including those that don’t support Chelsea believes Kepa is the perfect man to save Chelsea as the match ended goalless after 120 minutes.

Mendy has done his job as usual to hold the back firm but no one would predict Kepa won’t save or Liverpool won’t miss one out of 11 penalties.

Kepa is also human and today might not be his day, agreed, so why is he the same man that blasted away the decisive penalty?

You all think it’s coincident right? Recall the Spanish goalkeeper has asked Tuchel to play him for this match instead of Mendy which Tuchel didn’t accept his offer.

He’s been the number keeper for this tournament, but Tuchek just decided to seat him down for Mendy again, Mendy has overtaken Kepa in many competitions already, so he pleaded to start this little one at least but his boss didn’t listen.
