Yemi Alade Calls on Lagos Govt To Explain allocation of resources to LGA’s

The Nigerian singer and African mama Yemi Eberechi Alade, known professionally as Yemi Alade, is a Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter . She rises to Claims of Lagos state citizens as she asks Governor Sanwo-olu to release more palliatives to Lagos state residents in some listed Local Governments .

In her words she said :- Governor @jidesanwoolu Thank you for your service at this time.Below is the estimated population per LGA in lagos,with only 25%of our population having bank accounts(which still exceeds 200,000 families ),have you considered using bVN numbers to credit accounts weekly Sir? .

Futher more other Nigerians reached to her post claiming that the governor won’t listen to the message or react to it in earnest.

Yemi Slade further asked the Minister of Health in Lagos state to react to the Wel being of the youths after extending the lockdown knowing fully well that there has not been any source of income .

She said : Commissioner @ProfAkinAbayomi ,as a fellow Nigerian,I trust that the rapid increase of Covid19 cases saddens you.Apart from the 5billion given to @NCDCgov &the 2billion worth of food items for 200,000 60 yr old Nigerians .How do we stay healthy if the YOUTH are HUNGRY?

We call on Commisioner of Finance to lagos state; Mr Rabiu Olowo Onaolapo To explain to us how the 10billion Naira covid19 relief fund has been allocated. What are your plans to sustain the daily feeding needs nigerians?! This is the major reason people are not staying at home! She concluded .

Eighty-six new cases of COVID19 have been reported;

70 in Lagos
7 in FCT
3 in Katsina
3 in Akwa Ibom
1 in Jigawa
1 in Bauchi
1 in Borno

As at 11:50 pm 19th April there are 627 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
