Wizkid, a Grammy Award winner, is the latest cover artist for Apple Music’s African Category.
Wizkid just replaced his very dear buddy and colleague Burna Boy on the cover of Apple Music’s African Category, which he occupied last year.
Big Wiz continues to achieve amazing things, as seen by the fact that his most recent album, “Made In Lagos,” has achieved unprecedented success, thanks in part to his global smash “Essence,” which is featured on the album.
“Made in Lagos” is the fourth studio album and second major-label album by “Ojuelegba” singer Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records, which was released on October 30, 2020.
Billboard, a music platform that records the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and other countries depending on the genre, had recently confirmed that Wizkid’s album has been submitted for nomination in the “Best Global Music Album” category.
The Billboard in a post via its official website wrote: “Wizkid’s Made in Lagos is vying for a nod in the recently renamed best global music album category at the 2022 Grammys”.
While marking one year anniversary of his massively successful album, “Made In Lagos”, the singer revealed plans for a new album titled, “More Love Less Ego”, expected to drop on the last day of his MIL tour.
Wizkidayo wrote: “1 year already!! Thank you for riding with me. I’m just very grateful for all the love and blessings. Promised not to make you wait too long for the next one. “More Love Less Ego” dropping on the last day of tour! I love you!”
