Auwal Daudawa a notorious bandit who masterminded the abduction of Kankara students in Katsina State has returned back to the forest with arms.
The bandit leader known as Auwal Daudawa had become very popular after he led the group which abducted over 300 students in the government secondary school, Kankara LGA in neighboring Katsina State.
Remember that the bandit group leader, Auwal Dauduwa had surrendered to the Nigerian authorities as he was promised amnesty if he turned from his ways
According to a statement by the Zamfara state government, they reported that the bandit leader, Awwalun Daudawa, and six other members of the armed group had handed over their weapons, swearing on the Holy Quran not to return to their former practices.
Now Auwal Daudawa has returned to the forest, along with his family members and his gang members. He confirmed to one of the the sources that he took up his arms again. The source added that nobody knew about his decision to relocate back to the forest.
Before his relocation, Auwal Daudawa was living in the Damba area, which is just a few minutes ride to the Gusau town. He lived in the house that was bought for him by the Zamfara State Government.
