I was married at 20 and divorced at 22
Don jazzy reveals that he hasn’t not always been a bachelor as he married his best friend 18 years ago.
Micheal Collins Ajereh professionally known as Don Jazzy– the record producer, audio engineer, record executive, singer , song writer , entrepreneur and owner of the Mavins dynasty record label has set mouths agape with the news of his marriage to his wife and best friend Michelle Jackson, a UK-based model and a writer.
The news set the whole media ablaze because the supposed bachelor hasn’t been the type to talk about his love life.At first rumors that he had this undying affection for the popular Barbadian singer, actress and business woman Rihanna seemed to excite his fans, but clearly he was just another love hard fan of hers.
Don jazzy claims he got married at the age of 20 and being naïve and ambitious about his music career ruined his marriage by misplacing his priority at the age of 22. The couple divorced two years later. He made it clear that even though their marriage was short-lived ,he loved Michelle his wife who was loving inside and out and she did nothing wrong. He went further to agree that he was just a young boy full of dreams and ruined his marriage himself by not placing his priorities right.
The 38-year-old star producer’s revelation comes on the heels of the popular music ‘Bounce’ tell-it-all interview he granted Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on his show- BlackBox series.
During the interview, with Ebuka,Don jazzy spoke about his new home, rumours that he was broke, growing up in Ajegunle and also revealed that dancehall star, Daddy Showkey, is his relative.
He revealed he loves his Music career so much and hence doesn’t want to marry again and mess things up again until the time is right. He also highlighted that he didn’t like talking about his relationship past or present that was why he skipped this part of his life for so long.
This is the first time the Mavins Record huncho is opening up about his love life and indeed it isn’t just a sad one but a flabbergasting one because it never occurred to anyone that the engineer who was recently congratulated on his sound production of one of his signee Rema ‘s hit song ,’Bounce’, could have so much story behind his jolly and goofy personnel.
There is no news contradicting this revelation too as his ex-wife Michelle Jackson who goes by the handle @yarnstaswitch on Instagram commented on this post with a double heart emoji.
