Paris Saint-Germain are willing to let forward Neymar leave this summer if they receive a suitable offer, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
Neymar is still the most expensive player of all time after joining PSG for £198m in 2017, but his status at the club is said to be on the wane.
His relationship with teammate Kylian Mbappe, who has just signed a £650,000-a-week, three-year deal, has deteriorated to the point the club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is fine with letting him go.
When Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona, he was one of the biggest names in the sport and Al-Khelaifi said he had ‘the best player in the world’ at the club.
That may still be true, but Neymar has since been eclipsed by Mbappe, who has outscored him for the last four seasons and the 22-year-old’s bumper new deal cements his position as number one at Parc des Princes.
Neymar’s current deal with PSG will expire in 2025.
