Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has named Rob Holding as the man of the match after his team defeated West Ham United 2-1 in a Premier League tie on Sunday.
Arteta said he was really happy for Holding after his display for Arsenal against the Hammers.
Two goals from Holding and Gabriel gave Arsenal all three points against West Ham at the London Stadium.
Speaking during his post-match press conference, Arteta told BBC Sport, “You have to find a way to win and today we won ugly.
“We have to recognise that is the way we have done it.
“We showed incredible spirit because when we could play the way we wanted to play, we had to find a way to play the way they prefer. We adapted. You have to find a way to win all the time – forcing mistakes, being brilliant, digging in, clean sheets.
“I am really happy, especially for Rob Holding, as he has not played the amount of minutes he deserves. He was man of the match today. He is always there when we need him.”
Arsenal’s next Premier League match is against Leeds United next weekend.
