Veeki Royce and Elijah Daniel met in the studio of Veeki’s father, Royce Jones, during Daniel’s early days as a gospel gospel artist. Veeki and Daniel continue to work together, and their latest album, “Kingdom Praise”, was released in February. The album features guest appearances by Tye Tribbett, Kirk Franklin, and Yolanda Adams. Veeki says, “We wanted to make an album that reflected the gospel genre but with a modern flavor.”
The album’s title track features lyrics written by Veeki and music composed by Daniel. The song is about the power of God and the way his love changes people’s lives. Veeki says, “The message of the song is that God is always working in people’s lives, and even the most difficult times can lead to great blessings.”
The album’s other tracks include “God Is Good”, “In Jesus’ Name”, and “All You Need Is Love”. Veeki says, “We wanted the album to have a variety of moods and styles, so that everyone who listens to it can find something that speaks to them.”
The album has been well-received by critics. Tim Brown of New Release Tuesday says, “Kingdom Praise is a soul-stirring album that will move your heart.”
The album’s success has encouraged Veeki and Daniel to continue working together. Daniel says, “We want to keep making music, and we hope that people will enjoy our albums for years to come.”
