#NativeLand19 : Crises as Youth Event suffers [Full Video]

The popular Youths event tagged NativeLand was held on the 19th of December. It was supposed to be a show of full vibes but turned sour as organizers failed to make good venue and bouncers at the event.

Nigerians who attended the event complained bitterly at the early ours of Friday, 20th of December, all tagging #NativeLand19. Nigerians popular artists who attended the event showed their sympathy over the people as the stage was typically moved out.

In the early hours of this morning, 20th of December, videos circulated on social media.

Apparently, the VIP lounge of the festival had collapsed and left people injured, and amidst the ruckus, people were locked within the venue, Muri Okunola Park. Sets of artistes like Joeboy and Fireboy were cut short due to technical issues but what didn’t help this issue was the mounting pandemonium in the crowd.

This chaos went as far as a soldier flogging a young man with a whip (See video footage Here).

Appeal Message by NativeLand 19 Organizers.

The organizers of the NativeLand event have sent a statement regarding the turn out of the event stating that they needed a more bigger venue and decorum as many lives were lost.
