Female varsity student assaulted by school security after leak of nude in Anambra
A video has emerged showing the moment a female student of the University of the Niger, Iyienu, Anambra State, was physically assaulted while being evicted from the school by school security men.
The eviction followed a suspension of the student by the institution after a nude video of the lady was leaked, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend.
Reports indicated that the former boyfriend of the lady attempted to blackmail her with her nude video.
The lady allegedly refused to pay the amount demanded, and the man leaked the material on social media.
The school authorities reportedly got hold of the video and ultimately suspended her.
A video capturing the moment she was evacuated from her hostel shows the lady resisting being dragged by the security men.
Angry security men resorted to the use of sticks and similar weapons in their efforts to evacuate the lady from the school hostel.
Other students loudly protested the treatment being meted out to their colleagues, with some stepping in to intervene.
Others filmed the incident and uploaded it on social media.
The school authorities are yet to respond to the viral assault video.
