Reports suggest that a teenager, identified as Raiden Hagerdorn by local media, has been arrested for breaking into retired NBA legend Michael Jordan’s mansion in Chicago. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 4, and was brought to the police’s attention by neighbours. Although the 60-year-old Jordan was not present on the property, the 18-year-old was found inside the building. Hagerdorn has been charged with criminal trespass and two counts of criminal damage to property.
Jordan has not resided in the property since 2012 and has been attempting to sell it for over a decade. The mansion boasts nine bedrooms, 19 bathrooms, an indoor basketball gymnasium, pool, tennis court, and a cigar room. The property’s gates are customized with the No 23, which is associated with Jordan and his illustrious NBA career with the Chicago Bulls. During his career, Jordan won six NBA championships with the Bulls between 1991-98 and was named MVP five times. He retired in 2003 after playing for the Washington Wizards. TMZ currently values the property at just under $15 million.
