Following a reported domestic dispute, Marvel actor Jonathan Majors was arrested on March 25th for allegedly assaulting a woman in a New York apartment. The 33-year-old was charged with assault, strangulation, and harassment, although his representative denied any wrongdoing. The NYPD responded to a 911 call and took Majors into custody without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized in stable condition. Majors was released from custody and later seen leaving a courthouse wearing a baseball hat with the words “Freedom Freedom” written on it. His representative stated that he has “done nothing wrong” and they look forward to clearing his name. Majors is known for his roles in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania and the HBO drama Lovecraft Country, among others.
