JAMB Issues New Guidelines for Biometrics and Fingerprint ahead of 2025 Registeration
The joint admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has isued new guidelines for students partaking in the biometrics and fingerprint registration proceddings ahead of 2025 utme registrations that will duly commence on january 2025.
JAMB stated clearely on the new guidellines about ;

- Fingerprint Scanning
This is to ensure a smooth and stress free registeration for students who are applying for the utme exams, preventing fraud, malpractices, impersonation and maintaining the integrity of the whole examination process.
In the recent statement JAMB emphasized that the biometric verification remain a mandatoiry requiremnent for both the registeration and entry into the examination hall.
Candidates who fail verification will not be granted to sit for the examination, regardless of other documentation they may posses. This is a step by jamb eliminate impersonation and other forms of malpractises that have plagued the previous examination. cycles.
