The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old man, Solomon Fabiyi, for allegedly attempting to use his seven-year-old nephew, Jomiloju.
Fabiyi, who was paraded by the police, confessed that he planned to use the boy for ritual purposes so he could become wealthy.
In a video posted by TVC News, Fabiyi admitted to journalists that a herbalist had instructed him to find someone for the ritual. According to him, the herbalist assured him that the boy would not die but would only fall seriously ill as a result of the ritual.
