For this month’s elections in Nigeria, the African Union Commission has stated that it will send a 90-person observer delegation.

The country of Nigeria will vote on February 25 but is now in a crisis due to a fuel and money deficit.

In addition to mediating the conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, the African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM), led by former Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta, assisted in brokering a settlement to end a two-year battle in northern Ethiopia.
