Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua Explains the cause of his knee injury gives credits to the woods.
Anthony Joshua revealed to Metro UK reporters that he was injured while running in the woods but would be fit very soon.
The 30-year-old was seen on crutches and wore a large leg brace whilst attending a Black Lives Matter protest in his hometown of Watford at the weekend.
Joshua was due to defend his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles against Kubrat Pulev this month but the fight has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The rescheduled date for the fight against Pulev has not been announced but Joshua has confirmed that his preparations are not likely to be affected.
‘Respect for the supporters concerned about my leg,’ Joshua said in a statement.
‘I buss my knee running miles in the woods.
‘Still training, still active, still punching. Two weeks to [go], then it’s off.’
