Ex-Chelsea star, Drogba proud to receive Uefa President’s award.

Drogba has shared his feeling after he was honoured with the much-coveted award previously won by Sir Bobby Charlton, Eusebio, Raymond Kopa, Johan Cruyff, Francesco Totti, David Beckham and Eric Cantona.  

“I’m so proud to have been given this recognition, being among prestigious names like Eusebio, Di Stefano, Sir Bobby Charlton, David Beckham, Beckenbauer, Raymond Copa, Eric Cantona, Yoan Cruyff, Francesco Totti,” Drogba posted on Instagram.


“I want to thank Uefa President Ceferin for honouring me, the teams I’ve played for and against, my teammates and all the people who have sent me so many nice messages of congratulations.

“More than my achievements in football, I’m more proud of the man I’ve become through 20 years of football education.”
