Nigerian singer and winner of the BBnaija season 5 , ‘Laycon’ thrills fans with the official release of his debut album.
Nigerian rapper, singer and winner of the popular Big Brother Naija season 5 and currently the youth ambassador of Ogun state, Olamilekan Moshood Agbaleshe popularly known as Laycon has greeted his fans with good news announcing that his new album “…Shall We Begin?” would be released soon.
In the early hours of the day, Laycon took his social media account to announce his debut album title and the release date.
The album is title “…Shall We begin?” and would be released on April 30th. He went ahead to reveal popular YKB, Joeboy, Terri and the renowned Mayor of Lagos as featured artists.
He had also announced few days ago to his fans during his 2-day GOTv iCONic tour in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state on his courtesy visit to the Honorable Commissioner for Information and strategy, Ini Ememobong at the ministry’s headquarters at Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo.
Laycon seems to be surfing the waves in his music career as the news of his recent success of his song “Wagwan” entering the Bill Board Top Thriller Global Chart at #5 shows he is indeed an award-winning iCON. Among his other released songs“HipHop”,” Wagwan”, “Fall for me” which are lead singles.
We first saw Laycon on the Big Brother Naija stage with a top that literally lights up.he has since lit our television screens with moments of bromance, friendship goals and plenty wise words. The young man has proved undisputedly that he is really destined for great things. It wasn’t a thing of the new when his song “Fierce” in which he featured Chinko Ekun and Reminiscewhich was on the MTV Base Top charts for Six months. After the popular entanglement with Erica Nlewedim in the house, it seems Laycon hasn’t been in any form of relationship although news of various ladies who rejected him for his shabby looks before his fame, hitting up his Instagram DMs have been heard in different cases.
The young man seems to be leading his dreams as he is really happy that he would soon release his first debut album and indeed “facts don’t care about your feelings…”
