Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has set social media on fire after sharing her opinion on the financial responsibilities of men in relationships.
According to the actress, a man should naturally provide for the woman he is dating without waiting for her to ask.
In her words:
“She doesn’t even need to ask you. It’s your responsibility as a man to know that your woman needs to dress well and look good. She should be your pride.”
Reacting to the term “gold digger,” Bukky Wright didn’t hold back:
“I hate it when men call women gold diggers. What do you expect her to dig? I won’t advise any woman to dig anything less than gold.”
When asked if men who cannot afford the financial demands of dating should stay away from relationships, she responded:
“Then don’t date if you cannot afford it! Or date according to your level.”
