VIDEO: Lady shot during kidnapping narrates ordeal after rescue
A woman who was shot by suspected kidnappers in Ogbere Forest in Ogun state has shared a harrowing account of her ordeal after her rescue.
Recounting the moment she was attacked, she said:
“When we were going to the centre of the road, what I saw was a young man parked… He said, come out, or I will shoot you. I managed myself, I said, I won’t come out. He fired me with a bullet.”
She further described how the attackers grabbed her daughter and sister during the chaos:
“He grabbed my daughter, the one I entered, and he shot me. He came back again, grabbed my sister and me…”
The victim was among five people rescued within 25 hours by a joint operation of the Lagos and Ogun State Police Commands under Operation KOSAYE.
She sustained gunshot wounds in the attack.
The search for the remaining suspects continues.
