Operatives of the Ogun State Amotekun Corps have dismantled a sex trafficking operation in the Ifo Local Government Area, rescuing victims and apprehending suspects. The raid, which occurred around 6:15 am on Wednesday, targeted a camp where individuals were being exploited for prostitution.
The operation led to the arrest of 15 suspects, including the alleged ringleader, identified as Idem Joy. The victims, ranging in age from 12 to 39, were reportedly forced into prostitution at the Railway Line Hotel, situated along Old Bank Road in Ifo.
One of the victims, a 17-year-old girl whose name is being withheld, shared a harrowing account of her ordeal.
