Ayra Starr leads in streams , soon to be Nigerians #1 artist 2024

Nigerian singer Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has been announced as the most streamed Nigerian artist globally on Spotify.

The announcement was made by Phiona Okumu, Head of Music, Sub-Saharan Africa at Spotify, during a press conference held in Lagos on Wednesday, July 10.

Ayra Starr’s dominance on the global stage was highlighted by her collaboration with Rauw Alejandro on the track “Santa,” which claimed the top spot on Spotify’s global impact list for Nigerian tracks.
