News of his passing was reported by Sahara Reporters who claim that the information was disclosed to them by a close relative of the family.

SaharaReporters learned, throught their sources, that because they were unable to transport him overseas, he was cared for by State House physicians till his passing.

“Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos

“They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week,” the source was reported saying.

The statesman passed on at the of 67 years.
