Nigerian Singer Tems Wins First Grammy

Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer who won her first Grammy in the category of “Best Melodic Rap Performance” in 2023.

She received the honor for her contribution to Future and Drake’s smash hit “Wait For U.”

In 2023, she received three Grammy Award nominations.
