Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has announced that Isco will leave at the end of the season.
This season, the Spanish midfielder has yet to play more than 400 minutes.
Isco has not played in the Champions League since February, when he made his previous appearance against Granada.
“Isco’s Real Madrid career comes to an end today,” Ancelotti said following Real Madrid’s 0-0 draw with Real Betis on Friday.
“It’s also been a fantastic career.”
Isco has faded away at the Santiago Bernabeu due to injuries and a recent drop in form.
Isco is unlikely to play in Madrid’s Champions League final against Liverpool next week.
