Former Rangers of Scotland star, Ally McCoist has joined a number of pundits who still believe that Chelsea would beat Real Madrid on Tuesday and progress to the next stage of the 2021-22 Champions League.
He said if Chelsea can score the first goal, then it is game on, insisting that Thomas Tuchel’s side should not be ruled out of the tie.
He believes Chelsea has a chance to make a comeback against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
The Blues travel to the Bernabeu with a mountain to climb after losing 3-1 at Stamford Bridge last week.
But Rangers legend McCoist is not writing off the reigning European champions just yet.
“It’s as tough as it can get! There wasn’t a lot in the game apart from the finishing.
“If Chelsea can nick the first goal, it’s game on. Chelsea is not out of the tie! They’ve got a chance!”
