Muslim Student’s Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit has called on the federal government to ban BBNaija
The popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija is one of the most viewed Television show in Nigeria. The ongoing show has many housemates from different regions of Nigeria.
According to the President of Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos state Area unit, Mallam Miftahudeen Thanni, he stated that the reality show is causing social vices in the country.
Mallam Miftahudeen Thanni noted that hosting the reality show at a location in Lagos state is unfavourable for youths development in the state.
Is it true that BBNaija is causing social vices in the country?
The reality show is not compulsory for all Nigerians to watch. The reality show is exclusive for youths who are above 18 years. It has also foster unity among Nigerians as many youths from different regions come together to share ideas and also get to know more about the cultures and traditions of each other just like the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) where people from different orientations unite and become friends.
