Mavin announces ‘Mavin Future 5’ Program

Mavin Record Label   CEO and Founder, Micheal Collins Ajereh known as Don Jazzy announces the emergence of ‘Mavin Future 5’ recruit Program.

Mavin is building a global music powerhouse and one of the biggest young music enthusiasts. The Mavin Future Five is a new system that involves quinary of the most curious, creative and proactive music enthusiasts in Nigeria. Mavin Records (also known as the Supreme Mavin Dynasty) is a Nigerian record label founded by record producer and recording artist Don Jazzy on May 8, 2012.

The program will be recruiting young talents between ages of 18-23, who will be tasked with developingtheir music business skills by experiential learning.

During the proposed 6-Month Internship program at Mavin Global, the select candidates will receive tutorship from the best in the business and gain great industry experience in the continent’s biggest music label.

Mavin Future Five project, Tega Oghenejobo, C.O.O of MAVIN Global enthused said in his speech that; ‘No matter how genius your potential is, everyone has to do their 10,000 hours. You need practice. There are young people everywhere in need of someone to believe in them. Here at Mavin, we are looking to build the future of Music in Africa by building those who will be in charge of it’.

This sentiment is reiterated by the  CEO and Founder,Micheal Collins Ajereh popularly known as Don Jazzy; ‘The music business is more than just the sound, more than just the artists. The Mavin Future Five will be occupying the salient positions that make the music industry tick’

The program select candidates will be guided to refine and improve their talents. They will be filling the positions of Artists Relations Intern, Digital Intern, New Business Intern, Creative Marketing Intern, and Promotions and Publicity Intern.

The Mavin record label has although produced great stars  is home to recording artists such as Korede Bello, Di’ja , Johnny Drille ,Ladipoe , DNA Twins, Rema, Arya Starr ,  Crayon. It also houses producers such as Jazzy himself, Tiwa Savage , Wande Coal,Reekado Banks  and Iyanya were all formerly signed to the label. In January 2019, Mavin Records bagged a multi-million dollar investment from Kupanda Holdings, a subsidiary of Kupanda Capital and TPG Growth.
