, APC, has denied endorsing any zonal arrangement ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee made its position known while disowning a zoning list of national officers and political positions for the 2023 presidential election.
John James Akpanudoedehe, the national secretary of the caretaker committee called on Nigerians to disregard the rumor.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) zoning list which has been circulating on social media has been disowned by the party’s Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC).

This was made known on Wednesday, April 14, by Senator John James Akpanudoedehe, the national secretary of the caretaker committee.
The ruling APC has declared that it has not taken a final decision on zoning any office.The arrangement allegedly released by the APC also contained the region where major national elective offices such as the presidential ticket are zoned to.
Akpanudoedehe in a tweet via the ruling party’s official Twitter account urged the general public to disregard the purported list.
He insisted that the APC is yet to zone its offices, adding that the party will be required to make extensive consultations before such arrangement would be made.
Ahead of the party’s forthcoming national convention, Akpanudoedehe explained zoning of offices is yet to be on the table of the committee.
It was reported that the conversation on the 2023 presidency has taken another dimension as Malam Ibrahim Shekarau said there is no arrangement for the zoning of the presidency in the constitution of the APC.
