41 Teachers Sanctioned For Malpractice in Delta

During the 2019 WAEC Exams, a total of 41 Teachers were Sanctioned For Examination Malpractice in Delta State.

The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Patrick Ukah, made the announcement in a statement on Monday.

Mr Patrick said the decision was equal to recommendations by the Examination Ethics Disciplinary Committee.

Ukah noted that those affected are to suffer deferment of promotion by one year and banned from supervision of any school examination for a period of three years.

Anointed Secondary School, Ubogo, Udu LGA, which was closed down for examination malpractice, will get a warning letter and allowed to reopen.

Mary Mount College, Boji-Boji Owa, was found guilty of examination malpractice and fined N100,000 as penalty.
