“I wanted to leave Man Utd and return to Arsenal after my first training session” – Alexis Sanchez

Inter Milan Forward and former Manchester United No 7, Alexis Sanchez reveals he wanted to leave Man United after his first training sessions with the red devil’s.

In a video uploaded on his Instagram page, Alexis Sanchez reveals he wanted to leave the club after their first training as he sees there was absence of unity at the club which reflected in the field.

The former Arsenal player signed for United but was loaned to inter last year after a season of poor performance for united.

Sanchez revealed that the team wasn’t organized and that’s why he didn’t see his best at the club. ” Most people don’t understand what was going on inside but we do we were not united and it reflected on the pitch”.

“After the first training session I realised many things, I came home and asked my family and my manager if I could not break the contract and return to Arsenal, something did not fit me, but I had already signed,” Sanchez said. 

“Months passed and I kept feeling the same. We were not united as a team at that time.

“The journalists also spoke without knowing and it hurt. Former players also spoke and had no idea what was happening inside the club. And they hurt me.

“A player also depends on the internal environment, that we need to be a family. We weren’t like that, and it was reflected on the field. If someone had to be blamed, they blamed me.

“I do self-criticism and should have played better. But I was always blamed, even if I played for a few minutes.” 

Sanchez, 31 scored just 5 goals after 45 appearances for Manchester United which is poor compared to the 80 goals he scored for the Gunnar’s.
